We had the good fortune of connecting with Xtavia Bailey and we’ve shared our conversation below.
What’s your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?
My favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur is e freedom to move the way God intended me to. My journey is about changing the mindset of others, to allow them to see their own vision. Seeing is believing! Entrepreneurship allows you to not only employ, but expand creativity beyond imagine. When you’re passionate about what you do, growth flows expeditiously. Continuous growth and development means everything to me, especially to create a recipe that work’s specifically for me.
Who/what’s your biggest inspiration behind your daily grind?
My inspiration behind my daily grind is living life to the fullest! When I was 15 years old, I diagnosed with lupus. (An inflammatory disease caused when the immune system attacks its own tissues.) Doctors informed me I wouldn’t surpass age 21. By the grace of God, I’m truly a walking testimony. My overall purpose is to live, inspire others and to never give up. My inspiration is my journey because it’s like no other! If I had to mention who’s my biggest inspiration, I’d say Tyler Perry. His journey of growth, development and consistency truly allows you to walk by faith, not by sight. When you put God first, anything is possible!
What’s the biggest challenge of being an entrepreneur?
Entrepreneurship is not for the weak. Those who understand failure is the way of learning to do something better. Sometimes, family and friends cannot go with us to the next level. The hardest part of elevation is removing and separating the people in your life that’s not beneficial.
Are you working on any special projects or anything new?
Currently, I am working on taking my coaching business to the next level. I’ve started my master classes on “15 Invaluable Laws Of Growth”. Very fortunate to say classes were sold out! We’re currently planning an Internationality retreat October 2023, in Orlando, Florida. The retreat focuses on being intentional about the choices we make that can impact the way our journey is molded.
Do you have any special mentions?
If I had to mention anyone, it would be all the coaches that poured into their clients, alongside all of my clients. Secondly, my mentor, Ms. Barbara Harvey, Christine Clark and Sue Kinnan. Thank you for motivating and believing in my journey.
