We had the good fortune of connecting with singer/songwriter, Omar Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
How did you get into making music?
Like many other great musicians, I fell in love with music at an early age, 6 years old to be exact. I used to sing and perform at Calvary Baptist Church, in Norwalk, Connecticut.
What’s the best part about being a musician?
The best part about being a musician is inspiring others, feeling the energy from the crowd as I perform and giving women a reason to smile.
If you could collaborate with any musician, who would it be and why?
It would be an honor to work with Boyz II Men. They are the most powerful R&B group to ever do it. Beyond legendary!
Do you have any advice for aspiring musicians?
“If you don’t believe in yourself, no one will”.
